ESG

ESG at Dancover

At Dancover, we continuously work with initiatives related to environmental, social and governance matters (ESG). ESG is an integral part of our business and the way we develop the company.

Since 2022, we have been a participant in the UN Global Compact – the world’s largest voluntary initiative for corporate sustainability. This means that we work with and support the UN’s 10 principles on human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption. We also commit to reporting annually on our initiatives and progress.

We also work with selected UN Sustainable Development Goals, including:

  • Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality
  • Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
  • Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land

Our ESG reports describe, among other things:

  • Mapping and reduction of CO₂e emissions (Scopes 1, 2 and 3)
  • Targets for reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions
  • Participation in external initiatives, including planting more than 200,000 trees
  • R&D of materials focused on reduced environmental impact and increased recyclability
  • Social initiatives relating to employees and the working environment

We report annually on our ESG work and continuously develop our data basis and reporting, including through the incorporation of the VSME standard for voluntary sustainability reporting.
